Lima, Peru 10/09/02	Message from Shree Vasant We have to warn the people in New York City and these other cities of U.S Another place possibily targeted is NORFOLK, VA. People are not likely to consider moving but it is wiser to live outside of the cities and still do all the fires and help the people. Now those of our people, i.e., people who practice Agnihotra fire who are now in larger cities of U.S., have to take precautions. Yes, Maharaj Shree protects them. Still New York is going to be more dangerous now. Washington, D.C., Boston, Massachusetts. More people practicing Agnihotra healing fires are required there. Also Miami. There is urgent need for more people practicing Agnihotra in Los Angeles and Chicago. Also our people can go there for that purpose and LIVE OUTSIDE THE MAIN METROPOLITAN AREAS. It is not only terrorism but also that natural disasters have been predicted, PARTICULARLY IN COASTAL AREAS. If focus is on airline security and at airports, then, of course, terrorists will move to another area where focus is less. They will not continue focusing only on airport airplanes. Next targets will be as well devasting if they are not stopped. Now, as our work goes more on subtle level, it follows that those near rise more into power. By power we mean higher awarness simply. The Master Shree Gajanan Maharaj can utilize the few people who do HIS work. All these days, when this was told the response was, "How can a small number of people do all the work?" Now, as we move more and more into the subtle realms, so our people also begin to work with these subtle energies. As you become more subtle, your physical needs also change, in terms of food, for example. Also at this point cleanliness becomes more important. Food becomes fuel only as desires fall away. Needs for this "fuel" change and one eats less and lighter as one advances. Then a stage is reached where nothing is required but the body takes food only almost symbolically. All of you will become more sensitive to vibrations. You have to move among many people where you can not always dictate the situation. Still, stay in places that are clean, wear clean clothes, shower every day, keep discipline clothing for Agnihotra healing temples, plus 4 A.M. Mantras. As you become subtler, all these "I need" "I want", become less. End message
3.09.2002	Message from Vasant We are ending an era in which many have been turned to science for their answers. HOMA THERAPY IS LIKE SUPERSCIENCE FOR THE NEW ERA. However, we must also turn within for the answers now to the problems facing our environment as well as ourselves. To perform the healing fires, Agnihotra and other YAJNYAS for healing of the atmosphere, assists agriculture, medicine and the physical needs of each human being. Now, to look further inside in order to set things right within is essential. Never before have we focused on the idea of self development with such emphasis, but now it is necessary. Practice SWADHYAYA (self study, ‘Who am I?’) and rid yourself of what is unnecessarily burdensome for your personal development. Why? 19.07.2002	GURUPOORNIMA Gurupoornima is the traditional VEDIC day of honoring and worshipping the eternal Guru tradition. Guru is the master and mentor, who swiftly guides our journey towards peace, bliss and happiness. This peaceful state of mind is liberation. Guru dispels the darkness of attachment, illusion and ignorance with the glorious torch of pure knowledge. Along with the creation PRAJAPATI i.e. Almighty revealed the knowledge of 'VEDAS' into the pure hearts of RISHIS who were in deep yogic samadhi. The day on which Vedas were revealed is celebrated as Gurupoornima. Almighty father is the first and foremost guru of the entire creation. According to PATANGALI, He is the Guru of Gurus from whom the unbroken guru-disciple tradition commenced. It flows even today. The full moon of the Vedic month ASHADHA is the day of Gurupoornima. In this year it coincides with the full month in the second half of the month of July. In Shivpuri we celebrate Gurupoornima on the 24^th of July 2002. Paramsadguru Shree Gajanan Maharaj (Shivpuri), our beloved master, reiterated the eternal message of the Vedas in the form of Fivefold path. He is the Guru of Gurus. He is Param-Sat-Guru meaning perfect Supreme master. In SHREE merged many divine Guru hierarchies. SHREE is blessed by Lord PARSHURAM with the esoteric knowledge of TRIPURI MANTRA. It is respected as the most secret and holy Mantra. It is the mother of all Mantras. In Gurumandir (Akkalkot) SHREE ascended the seat of GURUS of LORD DATTATREYA tradition. It was adorned by Siddha Masters like SHREE SWAMI SAMARTHA. VEDA is the fountainhead of all spirituality. It is the basis of the teachings of all masters, prophets, messengers, paigambers, saints and avataras. On the day of Gurupoornima let us all reaffirm our total surrender and devotion at the lotus feet of our Master SHREE and His message of AGNIHOTRA - Fivefold path. 17.05.2002	What is Swadhyaya? - by Vasant Paranjpe Dear Udo - Greetings. Wish you a happy Shree's Birth Anniversary. Its His 84th anniversary and we are celebrating the event in Pune this time. Agnihotri brothers from all over the state and outside have gathered here for a one day program. This is generally the time when Agnihotra teachers from all parts of the contry share their experiences with others. 22.03.2002 from Claudio /Chile	Please practice again... Same years ago, I was with Vasant in a visit to Chile. I practiced Agnihotra between 1993 and 1995. I don't know but quit the practice... The last Sunday, given order to my books I founded a picture of Vasant. Since this day I've been feeling a voice that tells me "please practice again". 21.03.2002	Dear Brother / Sister Greetings. The World Agnihotra Day was celebrated with great joy and vigor in hundreds of place all over India. We are receiving reports of different activities and programs done on local level from various centers. On this day a half hour film on Agnihotra was also shown on the national television. The New year as per the Lunar calendar began on the 15th of March. A list of important celebrations in this Lunar year as per the Vedic calendar is attached for reference.
