02.07.2001	Dear Udo, ... We have a wonderful little fire temple where we conduct Agnihotra. The fruit trees around it produce the most amazing quantity and quality of fruit in our area. We have an abundance of apples, plums, cherries, pears, blueberries, strawberries, and rasp-berries. We are truly blessed! Trees that had not produced fruit in many years, due to neglect by previous care-takers, are suddenly producing the most wonderful fruit again. We see it as all Shree's blessings to us, though we never met Him in flesh. - With the upcoming eclipse this July 5th we will be increasing the Om Tryambakam fire. 01.07.2001	Dear Udo, Thank you so much for sending the passwords. Me and my extended family have been practicing Agnihotra for about eleven years on our farm in Oregon, USA. It is my greatest joy, I must say. We have benefited enormously and I look forward to the fire each morning and evening. We have thirty three acres of wonderful farmland on which we grow and sell hay to farmers, raise our children, have wonderful gardens and orchards. We feel truly blessed and thankful for what the Lord provides us. We also perform daily gayatri and tryambakam fires. What more can I say? 01.07.2001	GURUPOORNIMA Gurupoornima is the traditional VEDIC day of honouring and worshipping the eternal Guru tradition. Guru is the master and mentor, who swiftly guides our journey towards peace, bliss and happiness. This peaceful state of mind is liberation. Guru dispels the darkness of attachment, illusion and ignorance with the glorious torch of pure knowledge. Along with the creation PRAJAPATI i.e. Almighty revealed the knowledge of 'VEDAS' into the pure hearts of RISHIS who were in deep Yogic Samadhi. The day on which Vedas were revealed is celebrated as Gurupoornima. Almighty Father is the first and foremost Guru of the entire creation. According to PATANGALI He is the Guru of Gurus from whom the unbroken guru-disciple tradition commenced. It flows even today. The full moon of the Vedic month ASHADHA is the day of Gurupoornima. In this year it coincides with the full month in the first half of the month of July which incidentally is also the day of Lunar eclipse. In Shivapuri and Gurumandir Gurupoornima will be celebrated on the 5^th of July 2001. On this occasion Rigved Samhita Swahakar Yajnya is being performed in Shivapuri from 28^th June till 5^th of July. Paramsadguru Shree Gajanan Maharaj (Shivapuri) our beloved master reiterated the eternal message of the Vedas in the form of Fivefold path. He is the Guru of Gurus. He is Param-Sad-Guru meaning perfect Supreme MASTER. VEDA is the fountainhead of all spirituality. It is the basis of the teachings of all Masters. Prophets, Messengers, Paigambers, Saints and Avataras. 18.06.2001 Chiropractic treatment	......Presently we are busy in a big Chiropractic treatment camp here at Shivpuri. 41 american young doctors are with us for 4 weeks & they are offering medical help services. We have helped more than 4000 patients by this time & intewnd to treat as many in next 2 weeks. The idea is that these young Americans learn about Agnihotra just by living in its peaceful atmosphere & invariably get copper pots from here. We give them addresse of our Richard Powers centre at Madison,Va,America. Gurupoornima will be celebrated ob July 5th it also coincides with an lunar eclipse. It is the annual day in the respect of Guru! Agnihotrra activity here in India is going great. 5.05.2001	Dear Udo Just today I returned home at ashram Shivapuri. The return journey was a little tedious.... The tour in Germany and Austria was very eventful and positive. During the four weeks I met with many individuals and smaller groups, many new individuals who showed keen interest in the practice of AGNIHOTRA. It was evident that the seeds of Divine will have been sown long back but we still need to let our self in Shree's service and strive to become His instruments. I hope the Mantra teaching CD, Agnihotra Video film are developing. Our stay at Surya-Deva-Haus was great and comfortable. There was incredible energy and love. 13.-15.04.2001	THE AGNIHOTRA TOUR TO GÜNZBURG (GERMANY) The Agnihotra tour of Hon. Shreekantjee to Surya Deva Haus was a very busy tour and consisted of various programs like recording of Mantra CD, Mantras for downloading, an Agnihotra-Video CD and an Agnihotra Video, a meeting and opening ceremony of Fire Temple at Surya Deva Haus, Havan etc. Hon. Shreekantjee arrived along with Mr. Manmohan Khanvilkar at Gunzburg on 13th of April. This tour was hosted by Udo Pohlner & Maria Merkle. Mrs. Kirti Mehendale, Sandeep Mehendale and Vinayak Parkhe were also present for the program and they came from England. The mantra recording was done on 13th Apr 2001. Tryambak Havan was performed on Saturday (14th Apr 2001), from 10:00 a.m. till 4:30 p.m. Udo and Maria performed Pooja of Shree At 4:40 p.m., after that, "Prayer of the Soldier of Satya Dharma" was read by all the Agnihotri bothers and sisters present at that time. A meeting was arranged at 4:30 p.m. on 15th Apr 2001. The meeting started with Vyarhuti Havan and ended with evening Agnihotra. During the meeting, Hon. Shreekantaji explained the importance of Agnihotra in today’s polluted world. He also explained the five disciplines of Agnihotra (Definite timings, Pot to be used of specific size and shape, Cow dung cake fire, offerings) He also answered the queries of different people in the group. The whole speech was perfect translated in German, by a German lady, Ursula, which helped the people to understand about Agnihotra easily. The program concluded after the evening Agnihotra.
